Maroon theme part 2

14 pcs of cupcakes with maroon theme and was ordered by Ayu( my loyal customer) for her brother's engagement.Actually she did requested for 15 pcs of cuppies and due to my mistakes I've just baked 14pcs( tu lah padahnya kalau baked cupcake pukul 4.30pagi...mata & kepala dok kelabu asap lagi...he..he...sorry ya Ayu) and Ayu has gave details for the cupcake topper which it must include the butterflies,love image & simple flowers & no roses ya...he..he..he.......

And I was pleased that she liked it very much.....

Cuppies for Open House

All these cuppies is made for my BIL's open house....60 cuppies altogether.Phew...I'm so tired due to non stop of baking activities since last Wednesday....sight....walaupun penat tapi seronok it's like a therapy for me....and I found that the most peaceful sanctuary is at my little kitchen....

Adeena & Atok Dol

Chocolate moist cake with chocolate ganached frosting......Azleen from Seremban has ordered this cake for her father & her little one whom turn 1 this year.Both grandpa & grandchild sharing the same birth date and because of that Ayu has requested me to modelling her father & her daughter on top of the cake....he..he..he...the best part is she did adding that "mesti ada janggut tau" for her father....I hope that both Atok Dol & Adeena will like the cake ...and to both of them ...Happy Birthday...

Ole-ole dari seberang....

Yehaaa......Mr hubby just came back from Melbourne last night and guess what? He bought me this cupcake stand.....sob..sob...terharu.... anyway it's not a wilton product but it's from D.Line....I don't mind at all as long as it portray the cupcake stand ....actually never expect anything from him as I know he has a tight schedule and I really appreciated that my dear hubby has searched the baking store with the anticipation to buy baking utensil for me but he only found the Kitchenware store and according to him not so many choices....

Black & silver theme

The theme is black & silver colour ,and my dear customer has give clear details which I think easy for me to comprehend......She wanted 6'' fondant cake with 12 pcs of cuppies for "hantaran" and 50pcs of chocolate cuppies with buttercream frosting for her nieces & nephews.Thank you Yan for placing the order ...and Selamat Pengantin Baru to you .....

The theme is red & white with the simple decoration.......Had to admit that I really enjoyed making this cake eventhough the preparation to assemble it is tiring.....sigh...hmmm....the cake is for 'Hantaran perkahwinan'.......to Dek Na tq ya and Selamat Pengantin Baru....

Airlines cuppies

The last batch of cuppies that I managed to bake for this week despite of water supply disruption in my housing area since last Thursday.50 pcs of chocolate cupcakes was ordered by Yusri whom to be one of my hubby's colleague.I've baked the cake earlier on Friday's night with the anticipation that the water supply will be okay on Saturday morning and I was totally wrong(3 hari tu tak dak air,rasa sangat tak best).....sight...just imagined how my kitchen look like...so horrible & messy with all the unwashed dishes.....and because of that I've to cancel another cookies order and luckily my good customer understand my situation....hmm.....to Yusri thank you for placing the order hope will receive more order from you...he..he..he...

Just to share some of my books that I'm using as references in baking process.....I'm sure that some of my baking's friends out there has more interesting book compared to mine.Alhamdullilah all these books is really useful & I have no regret spend $$$$ on them.
Glamour cakes by Eric Lanlard...the master of patissier....I love his work so much which is simple but elegant....below picture is one of his masterpiece ...
The Cake Decorator's Motif Bible also has a good reviews & guidelines in making cake topper from fondant & gum paste.......simple & understandable method & I'm sure the amateur baker like me will agree ...

I love all the sesame street characters and will happily accept any order relating to these colonies coz it will make me reminisces back to my childhood era where it was the only entertainment & educational programme available at RTM and yes ,at that time there's no ASTRO .....but being me as a "kanak-kanak riang" I really enjoyed watching all these character ......

Cake for Sophie Aqilah

Chocolate cake with Pink theme.My ex-classmate in UiTM has ordered this cake for her little princes whom turned 4 this year.She requested the edible image to be embedded on the cake and luckily I have the flower puff girl's icing sheet and it has incorporated perfectly with the pink theme.I've used American Chocolate Cake as my friend's hubby(also my ex-classmate) allergy with soda bicarbonate and I hope the cake will taste good as this is my 1st trial baking chocolate cake without s.b.,She also has requested me to do the fancy cookies and thousand apologies for not able to make it happen.Actually I've already baked the cookies and I was planned to decorate it this morning and sadly my "best illness" mr flu has attacking me.....hu..hu..hu... Sorry ya Aida and Thank You for your understanding .For little miss Sophie Aqilah...Happy birthday dear....(I love her name so much).

My new book

Dah lama berhajat nak beli buku Nigella ni dan setiap kali pi kat MPH Alamanda selalu tak ada or dah sold out,kalau kat Kinokuniya KLCC pulak herga dia buat saya terkedu dan berpikir dua tiga kali (last time saya checked 2 bulan lepas RM114.90).Tup tup hubby saya bagitau yg MPH online ada buku si Nigella dan harganya pulak mmg berbaloi.....beza dalam RM25 tu...dan lagi free delivery utk pembelian RM150 ke atas dan kebetulan Kak Ratna,my good adviser dalam bab masak-memasak ni pun nak pesan jugak,maka terlaksanalah misi saya nak dapatkan buku ni,.....semoga saya akan menjadi "domestic goddess" jugak ha..ha..ha..(ni ayat penguat semangat)...apa yg buat saya suka pasal buku ni dan si Nigella ialah method & bahan2 yg simple serta ulasan beliau yang bersahaja yang akan membuatkan sesiapa yg tak pandai mem'baking' pun akan berminat nak cuba mem buat kek sendiri(ni based dari experience saya tau...dulu saya mmg tak suka dlm bab-bab baking ni)....ok lah cukup kot saya membebel tapi mmg saya puas hati dgn MPH online ni...saya tempah hari Isnin dan dalam masa 4 hari saya dah dapat buku ni...mmg excellent.

Open house @ office

"Jom Makan-Makan Hari Raya a.k.a open house@office" was held on Friday -everybody in the office has to bring something for the event or we called it as "pot luck".....and of course my cupcakes is in the listing....40 pcs altogether and to save time I've just used the instant decorations which I had bought it from "Famous Amos" like flower shape of marshmallows,gummy candies & love shape melting drops.
